I've had him a few weeks, no issues, looking healthy. Yesterday I noticed him staying near the bottom breathing fast. Then today I see him like this. Still breathing and not moving. His face has some discoloration of sorts on it.

are those dots on his face?

could be ich on his gills... and not showing on the exterior til now.

or maybe velvet if he is discoloring...

Not ich, the few spots that look like they are on his face are actually on the glass. I'm thinking maybe velvet? Is it weird for velvet to show up several weeks later after no signs?

of course. from my experience, my clowns died from brooklynella a month after getting them...

DID you introduce new fish?

anything stressing them out?

aggression in tank?

Nothing new introduced since he was added. There are two fimbriated eels and a lionfish in the tank but they don't even look twice at the bicolor.
