Hello! I just got a replacement hood for my JBJ Nano 24 gallon. The lights are 36 watt 50/50. Good enough for some zoos? I'm not an LED fan. I would do metal halides, but cants find any for my tank!
Thanks!

is it 36 1 watt LEDs? or 12 3w LEDs? Any specs other than 36 watt?
They could just be very inefficient ... we wouldn't know.

i had a chinese LED on a 28g nano and it worked great. im not sure what the specs were though but the light was inexpensive.

I think those are compact fluorescent lights (50% white and 50% actinic). If so, they should be ok for mushrooms and some zoas.

+1 to what debincalif said. That's what those lights were for, softies.

I ran one of these on my old 24g for about a year with awesome results!
