Something went wrong with my original post. I was unable to open it said the thread was invisible to me. So here goes again.

I have some sort of outbreak. I have been told it is not aiptasia or majano. Can anyone help me to identify this multiplying pest?

Thanks!

It isn't a pest!

That is awesome but I cannot for the life of me remember what it is called. Don't hurt it unless it is a problem.

maybe Corynactis viridis

Corynactis +1

Common Name: Ball or Jewell anemone

I think they are cool. Some people have reported them getting out of hand but they are not considered a pest by most. They are actually more closely related to Mushrooms than true anemones

Agree, ball anemone. Mostly open at night and harmless.
