I'm cleaning up and old pump from a Vertex IN-100 skimmer. Is the impeller magnet supposed to spin on the shaft? The shaft and the impeller seem to be fused as one piece and I can't tell if they are supposed to be or if I need to be dumping this thing in some warm pure vinegar.
