These are the ones I go to in Vegas:

Blue Reef Aquatics
5960 Losee Road, North Las Vegas, NV 89081

Pisces Reef
9326 West Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89117

Aquatic Treasures
3211 North Tenaya Way #107, Las Vegas, NV 89129 (Small Shop but the owner is a great guy)

There are others but I live in North Vegas so I tend to only travel to these stores. Blue Reef is pricey but probably has the nicest display tank in all of Vegas. Pisces is a great store and the person in charge of saltwater (Damon) is my go to guy when I need anything).

Not meaning to Hijack this at all, but does Blue Reef Aquatics have a 450 gallon display tank with dual overflow on the back wall at the 1/3 and 2/3 point across the back (in other words, not in the corners)?

I think that may have been the tank I sold to them when I moved 5 or so years ago. Just trying to see where my old tank ended up.

Yup I believe thats the main display tank they have now. Its stunning, I stare at it every time I go into the store. That was your personal tank?

Yes, I designed it and had it built. It was an in-wall tank for my use. I remember him saying he was going to use it in a store. That must have been about 5 1/2 years ago. Tell him I said hello if you see him.

Blue Reef has a huge reef tank (might be 500 gallons) on the right side wall, just as you walk in the door.

It would be 96"x36"x30" with three bulkheads in each overflow, eurobraced with holes drilled in each corner, three cross braces across the tank with two going straight over each overflow, drilled for a closed loop, steel stand with angle braces in the corners. If he is still using my sump, it's a 4' long sump. If he still has the skimmer, it's an Deltec AP 1003.

Damn thats it exactly! I'll tell Greg I talked to you here on RC. Did you give him any livestock? I'll snap a picture this weekend if I can so you can see it in its current form.

He bought everything from me, livestock, rock, etc. the only thing I remember was a nice Blueface Angel. All I remember was that he and his wife were very nice, helped me break down the tank, and made the process that much easier. That was quite a while ago. It was a great tank and I miss having that big of a tank. I now have two 240 gallon tanks on either side of my living room fireplace so I still have the same amount of water, but having a single tank that size is more impressive.

Yeah they are super nice people. I don't think the blueface is in there anymore but its well stocked and the coral growth is amazing. Dang two 240g tanks?!?! That's my dream tank right there, I have a 120g right now but I want that 8 foot long tank so I can keep the tangs I want. Do you have pictures of your setup?

If you can only go to a couple of shops in Vegas, I would skip the one in west sahara. I was there last summer and was really underwhelmed.
I would recommend checking out the Bass Pro Shop thats connected to a casino (cant remember the name). It has a very large impressive tank with tons of reef fish. No corals though.
Edit:Here is a video I took of the tank. Much cooler in person, plus the phone is an iphone 4 with a terrible camera.

I believe it's the Silverton. It has a huge tank...and a bar with an awesome jellyfish display.
