Looks like a soft coral, Sarcophyton or Sinularia, you sure it's an LPS?

not sure if its a lps, but its hard to the touch. its not a soft and the guy said it liked high lighting

might be a tood stool. but it doesn't have polyps all over the place like the leathers i seen online
