Ive had my eel in my reef for about a year. Hes eating well never eats his tank mates OF ANY KIND EVEN CRABS only frozen food. I recently adde a chiller for summer months, Always thought I knew the (correct) temp. parameters. But recently have been loaded with things like warmer for the coral cooler for the eel. After 20yrs now im confused. Any body have close to my Reef & Eel set up im NOW looking for ideas. No problems yet, Just dont want any surprises Thankx

Not sure I follow. Can you please clarify? The grammar/sentence structure is difficult to understand.

Let me see if I follow you:
You thought you knew the correct temperatures for everything, but you're now being told that the corals need warmer temperatures than the eel. Now you're looking for people with similar tanks to see if you can confirm temperature requirements. You don't yet have any problems, but you want to make sure there are no incoming issues. Correct?
What temperature is the tank at?

No more than a 2 degree swing shouldn't stress anything out and corals are fine in the temp ranges you mentioned

Your temp settings are right in line with most reefs.

My zebra eel, fish, and corals are all at roughly 72-77 degrees. No problems with anybody. Just keep it stable!
