Just got chaeto and this lives in it.

It looks like an anemone. Could be a good one, but it's probably a majano.

I agree it is an anemone but not sure what type. If you can keep an eye on it for a while keep it. But if you see a second one pull them both out now.

I do have one more, very tiny. You can see it in last picture, right behind big one.

wow, its hundreds of them. Bought chaeto from liveaquaria. Got it today and introduced it to my tank. Afraid many of them got in my system already. Took chaetomorpha out.

You can soak it in FW for a couple of days to kill everything except the algae--it's tough as nails.
