So for the last week or so I continuously catch one of my black and white clowns laying on his side during the day, and I'm starting to get preoccupied, is this behavior normal?

When acquired? Source? When was the last wet item added to the tank?

I got a pair from the local lfs about a month ago, the last thing I added to the tank was biopellets reactor.

Tank size?
Water parameters? (Exact, don't just say "good.")
When was it set up?
Tankmates?
What creatures have you added recently?

The time frame makes me suspicious of parasites. Picture is not enough for diagnosis. Does that LFS run copper in their system?

I ask the lfs owner today about him using copper and he said no, I cannot take better pictures because he moves and acts normal when I approach the tank.

Ammonia? Nitrite?
Could the sixline be attacking it?
Does it show any signs of distress other than the laying down? Clowns are strange fish, sometimes they do weird things.

Ammonia and nitrite are undetectable, and none of the other fish are bothering him, and no he doesn't seen distress he breads normal and doesn't look like he is gasping for oxígen, every time I approach the tank he starts swimming around like nothing is wrong but when I go away he goes back to laying down on his side.
