Using IO reef crystals doing a weekly water change of about three Gallons on a 29 gallon dt with 20 gallon sump.(home made) checked calcium levels yesterday as I do every Tuesday and while they have been on the rise from a 400 base level this week they were literally off the charts (API test kit only goes to 520) mg and alk are in normal levels. (don't have my book with me so cant be specific) any recommendations to bring it down? It's literally snowing in my tank.

520 is not detrimental. You could do a water change. Have you checked the levels in the newly made saltwater? Have you checked the salinity in the main?

Salinity in the main is checked about every nine to ten hours and is constant at a 1.025 held as steady as I can keep a open top tank. Tg for sumps. Fresh mix is at a 400
