I picked up on of those entertainment center cord organizers today for $4. What a difference, $4 well spent.

I built a wall mounted box to put my dosing pumps in along with power head controller and some power strips for the heaters, ATO, skimmer. Anyway it nice and neat now. Just thought I would pass it along.

The black on the cords is some of that spiral plastic wrap that bundled up multiple cords. There are some peel and stick clamps I used on the wall to hold them in place. The kit had some small clamps for small wires ,like on the ATO, That nailed onto the wall. I put a brown louvered window shade on the box, so I can lower it when not doing anything. To the right of the box is the dedicated 20amp outlet that the electrician wired in for me last week.

The only thing under the tank is my return pump and the hardware for the led's. I got tired of fighting with stuff under the tank.

Better than it was this morning. It seemed like every time I tried to do something I was chasing a cord.

funny i did the same thing today. redid all the wiring and cord routing.

its true the neater things are, the more you want to do things, the more often they get done!

cramped or unorganized quarters cause laziness with maintenance!

I actually have tape wrapped around the cord near each plug. On the tape I wrote what it is attached to. Helps if I need to quickly unplug something!

Labels certainly help out. My wife has had to take care of an issue or two while I have been at work and the labels are life saver.

I forgot along with labels I also have a laminated sheet for my wife. It has problems and what to do or turn off. It has come in handy a few times over the years.

+1 to labels, especially in an emergency.
I like the box/window shade idea.
