I have decided to be cautious and QT all live stock purchases. I recently bought some coral frags, and the worms pictured below hitchhiked in. I did not dip the frags before going into QT, which I think was my first mistake. But now how should I go about eliminating these worms from my QT. Should I move the frags to another tank for a short bit, and scrub my QT tank, then put everything back, or is there an additive I can use?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks, ZB

I hear flatworm exit is good. Where did u get the frags from out of curiosity?

I'll look into that. Thanks. If anyone else has thoughts, please share.
The frags came from a LFS.

when flatworms die they release a toxin so its best to siphon out as many as you can before adding flatworm exit use a powerhead to blow into any cracks and crevices.

Yup, the reasons for having a QT.
Flatworm exit works but you need to suck out every last one you see for a few days straight before using it.

You might not even have to use the Flatworm Exit if your willing to do the work. I didn't..
Also, depending on what kind of coral it is, a quick freshwater dip will cause almost all of the flatworms to fall right off.

Cloak, can you detail what you mean by "do the work" I may be interested in that route vs putting chemicals in.
Thanks, ZB

I was just referring to siphoning out what you can. I was extremely diligent about this in my DT one time and now I don't have a problem with flatworms. Every now & then one or two will pop up, but the population is nowhere near what it used to be. I also beat those zoanthid eating nudibranchs this way too. That siphon pictured in the link below is a valuable tool to have. GL.

Is that available for sale, or is it homemade? Pretty straightforward to make?
