Started a 5g fir a qt cause it wasnt being used.
2 weeks in the cycle is near done but had this hairy growth for a week now. Anyone recognize it.

It's a relatively common type of hair algae that should disappear on its own after some time.
You will probably get some more algae in the next few weeks but they usually go away with time and a small cleanup crew.

You will want to make sure it has spoon-shaped claws, that is the main differentiating characteristic between a predatory and algae-eating crab. Algae-eating species have spoon-shaped claw tips.
