Hey, i have a couple of questions:
1. Light: I am using 6x 24w T5. The first 2 bulbs come on at 11.30, the next two at: 12.30 and the last two: 13.00. So all bulbs are on for 5 hours. Is this OK, or shall i change something?

2. I was also wondering about the placement of powerheads and if i have enough flow for sps?
I have a jebao wavemaker (small one-dont have a clue how many lph, i have one tunze (1600lh) and the returnpump (2400lh).
The tunze and jebao are placed on the rear glass. The tunze are pointing 45 degrees up and the jebao are pointed forward.
Water from the returnpump are going just beneath the water column.

My t5 in my main tank are on for 12 hours, even if I use T5 in a frag tank I put it on for about 8 hours.

For flow, you want to make sure the flow is enough to move the polyps around on all your SPS.

Thanks. But do you have all bulbs on for 12 hours?

All come on at one time, and are on for 12 hours.

Interesting. Anything after 8 and I start to see lighter colors. How high are your lights from the top of your corals JB NY, and how many?

My Lights are about 10" from the surface of the water, my MH are about the same and I run them for 8 hours.

Mine are 10" from the water and 14" from the tips iof sps. 6 bulb T5 / led - 2 hour led ramp on, 8 hour t5 only , 2 hour led ramp off.

My SPS are much lower, highest is probably 18" from the lights and I have other SPS as low as 30".
