Hi Reefers I am going on 8 Months with my 20K Radium Bulbs and would like to switch to a 10-12K considering I have a ton of Blue with LED and T5's on my new fixture. I am also starting with frags again. What is the recommended single ended bulbs to run on M80's
Thanks
Tom

I was going to order Ushio SE 250 watt, but it is designed to be run off a M58 ballast.
Thanks
Tom
I tried xm10k on my m80s briefly. Loved the color but shocked too many corals with them and they'd misfire about 1/10 the time and not light up. Went back to radiums to salvage the damage

Any other Opinions on a 250w SE Bulb on M80 Ballast? I know I get the Iwasaki 6500K will work but was hopping on a 10 or 12K bulb?
Thanks!

Have you thought about a couple of vero 10 LEDs to replace the MH altogether? Thats what I'm doing on my 40br. I love the t5, but miss the shimmer. I'm going to put two on and run them just bright enough to have some noticeable shimmer. The ones I got were 5000k, 90 CRI.

I just ripped out 12 panels and replaced with MH/T5/Led DIY fixture.

I almost ordered the 10k's but people complain about running on M80's and the spec is M58's. Can you comment on the impact of running these bulbs on m80's?
Thanks.
