This is a new set up with tank runs for 2 months. I am no really new to the hobby and made around 8 setups in the last 6 years, but never seen someting like this. there is always some diatoms in the begining, but GFO from day one makes tanks always clear without any algae.
This is first time I use German ceramics rock. There is also 2 pieces of Marco rock.
All rocks and even some SPS has covered in some kind of tiny clear hair with small white dots on the top.
not visible from the top. almost clear or very little white. you should look in level to see it. even my big conches snails has some of it on the shells.
I do not think these are some kind of worms (do not remember name)
Thanks

That pic doesn't help much, but if it isn't just the bacteria film with crud caught in it "tiny clear hair with dots" could be colonial hydroids. Maybe search google images and see if that's what you have? There's a type that is kind of like a branchy jellyfish material which grows on rocks. Hydroid blooms are common in new tanks, I think they ramp up until the larger filter feeders establish?
