Hey guys, so I have two Tunze 6100 powerheads running on a 7095 controller. I had initially set them up and everything worked fine, however around 3 days after I set them up, one of the pumps stopped working completely. The controller is working fine and in an effort to find the source of the problem I learned that both pumps work well when connected to one of the power supplies, however neither of them work with the other one, so I'm pretty sure the power supply is dead. I've read that these rarely fail so I want to get your advice on what to do.

thanks,

I'd start looking for a spare power supply. While they rarely fail they do fail. I've had one burn out on me in ten years of using many streams. You can find bundles of used tunze spare parts in the used equipment section

Unfortunately, we quit making these pumps in 2008 and the major electrical parts like power supplies are no longer available. My best guess as to what happened is you actually have a 6000, which is identical, same motor (6100.100) same driver, only the power supply is different, 7210.202 instead of 7410.602. This smaller lower power, power supply, is only 30W, if the pump jams up, it can burn out this smaller power supply. I would make sure the pump is clean and running properly and if possible find a 7410.602 or 6200.800 power supply, either will double the speed of the pump for more performance and these usually can only fail if the pump or driver is bad and causing an overload.
