Hello, new here. I'm trying to ID this coral I got a few weeks ago from a store I passed by. No one seems to know what it was, but one of the staff thought it might be a Duncan, but looking at photos of Duncan, it does not look like one. The fleshy part retract completely when disturbed.
I'm not even sure if it's a LPS or SPS. It's doing well in the tank so far.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks guys!

It looks kind of like a Hydnophora IMO.

A picture with it fully retracted would help. I can see why they'd think it was a Duncan, but I'm pretty sure it isn't.

Thanks, it looks like it is a cactus coral!

Thanks, it does look like a type of cats coral. Here it is partly retracted.
