Damsel Question

My damsel only eats marine flakes and Brine shrimp. When I feed it pellets, it spits it out. Why is the damsel doing this?

cause it doesn't like them, or its actually getting some of it in his mouth then he spits it out and picks it back over and over till its gone.

brine shrimp is supposedly like potato chips try Mysis suppose to have better nutrional value.

+1 with mysis over brine. What I do to wean wild caught fish (and therefore unfamiliar with prepared food) on to pellets is mix a few in with a cube of frozen whatever so that the pellet takes on some of the flavor and gets a bit softer. Within a few days it'll be chomping down on everything like the Damsel it is.
