View Full Version : Blue spotted stingrays advice!

I was looking into buying a blue spotted stingray always wanted something exotic i have some experience with hard to feed fish. just looking for advise on which type filters? and what type sand? just a few specifics like that and will it be suitable for a 240 gallon aquarium? which will be getting after move out of small town homes.

Which type of blue spot? The ribbon tails have very poor survivability in captivity.

If a ribbon tail, I would highly encourage look up tube feeding. They are notorious for starving to death. There are videos on YouTube that explain and do state the process well.

I don't
really know what type at the moment because they're not the most listed species around and are a little hard to find < so i was just wanting to know on the species in general But lets just go with ribbon tail so ill know really what to do for them just in case that

There is one with blue spots that isn't the ribbon tail that is much better as far as aquarium life goes. Force feeding works but there is a lot involved with that. Not as easy as the YouTube videos make it out to be
