Hey guys,

How long should a Aquarium be cycled before adding corals

As long as it takes to hatch a shiny squirtle with perfect IV's.

Technically you can start adding them once the tank cycles, but I'm going to wait a month before adding soft corals to my tank, and another before the hard corals go in. It's recommended that you wait a year before adding anemones, with 6 months being the absolute minimum time.

Speaking from personal experience, don't rush it. Parameters fluctuate, and even the most hardy of corals (GSP in my case) can die in this critical period. Wait until after the amphipod bloom, and maybe start adding after the hair algae starts to die back a bit.
