display tank -> drain line -> chaeto fuge -> sump ??

Would you all be OK with your drain line going straight into a chaeto fuge, and then draining to your sump from there? I would much rather have the drain go to the skimmer first but I'm trying to add a fuge to my current system and it's so much easier to have all the water go to the chaeto first.

I just don't want to create a massive detritus trap.
