Hello RC, havent posted in a while but i need you help now. I was thinking about rescuing a once beautiful elegance coral from a fellow reefers whos tank is becoming too small for it. The problem is that it scratched itself agajnst the rocks when it extended and the hermit crabs then got at the wound and tore it up more. Here are the pictures from last night of the wound. I told him to place it in a plastic container in the tank to protect it from the hermits. CAN THIS BE SAVED? If so how should i hest go about it? Should i frag off the bad part of the coral?
