Not sure if posting this in the right place or not lol.. The title says it all. I'm new here and decided to join to see if I could get help identifying these corals. I've had my tank up and running for about two years now and recently decided to add corals. I went to my LFS and just picked a few frags out of the tank they keep corals in. Any and all advice and i.d.'s welcome thanks

It looks like a Carnation coral. This is definitely not one of the easiest corals to keep. GL.

Thanks for the info. It's grown a lot and has a few more branches than when I got it about a month ago and I haven't fed it anything. The guy at the store said all they needed was trace elements and frequent water changes so I've been doing a ten to 15 gallon change every week.. I've got a few more I need help identifying but I can't get the pics to upload.

I'm not sure if those are the same things or two different ones but I think they're different..

Here's a better pic. There are multiples of the one up front. One of thems all drawn up I saw a hermit crab on it earlier

Thanks. The info was very helpful. Should I leave them on the plugs they came on or try to get them off and just put them on some LR?

I personally leave them on the plugs, others do not.
