Pink and Green Cuc shrinking??

I have had a Pink and Green Cucumber for about two years. It has been a interesting invert. I was feeding it about every other day with reef snow and invert foods. I stopped feeding invert foods for about 6 months to bring the nitrate's down plus It moved over to the over flow.
I have noticed it has gotten smaller. I was told I did not have to feed it as much as I was.
I would appreciate any info to help save this Cuc.
It is in a 75 gal mixed coral reef.
It was 3" now it's 2"
