Is 4x54w T5s on 4 ft tank sufficient for LTA?
I have 6 BTAs thriving but not sure if LTA requires more light than BTA?

It depends on the depth of the tank of course, but for most common 4ft sized tanks, that lighting should work. LTA's also have similar lighting requirements as BTA's according to most sources.

What fixture? Does it have individual reflectors? What bulbs are you using?

Recently took down my 75, but prior I had 2*250 MH + 4*54 T5 for my LTA, seems like it could have handled in more light. With the being sand bed dwelling, tend to need more than an E. Quadricolor.

Thanks to all for your replies. It is 2 feet deep. The fixture is a giesseman. It has individual reflectors. I am using giesseman bulbs (2 actinic+, 1 Aqua blue+, 1 Aqua pink)

Anybody else want to weigh in?
