Green Star Polyps aren't spreading?

Hello, I've had my GSP for about 6-7 months and it came on a flat rock, I've moved it around a few times but it hasn't spread, it just extends the tentacles and I have no clue on how to make it spread. Any suggestions on what I could do?

Difficult to offer any useful advice in the absence of any information about your tank.

Tank is 7 months old, I have a current LED that runs 10 hours a day, 2 400 gph pumps with about 27 lbs of live Rock. Do weekly water changes as well

I think people would need more specific info. Do you have phosphates? Nitrates? Current is a brand with several led lights. What model? How many watts? What size is your tank? What else is in there? More info will help people answer you better
