I'm planning on upgrading my lights so I can keep a few anemones and some coral.
Should two of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/MarsAqua-Dimmable-300W-LED-Aquarium-Grow-Light-Full-Spectrum-Reef-Coral-LPS-SPS-/390885496493?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5b029756ad
OR Buy three of the standard chinese 55 x 3 lights and hang them in the middle between the 3 spaces on the top of a standard 6 ft tank bracing?
I was thinking of buying two of the bigger ones, as they cover more ground and have more wattage.
The standard 55 x 3 is a total of 495 Watts
The two larger ones are 300 Watts each, so 600 Watts total.
The Standard ones are 16 inches long each, and the larger ones are 31 inches.
But my Question really is this.......With the bracing on a standard 6 ft footrpint tank, looking down from the top of it you have the three rectangles.....should I get the smaller ones to fit that spacing better or should I get the two larger ones for the more wattage and not worry about the bracing blocking the light???????????????
