Mg in AWC or ATO?

I need to raise my Mg about 100ppm. I use the SeaChem dry stuff. The calculator I used says I need about 350g. Is it better to put it in my 5 gal ATO reservoir, the 20g AWC reservoir, or does it really matter?

That much might not dissolve in change water.

I would mix it up with however much RODI water it takes to get it to dissolve. Dump half of it in the tank today and half tomorrow.

Because the change water already has high Mg? Hadn't thought of that. Thanks.

Don't do it if you are feeding that water into an Kalk reactor.
