View Full Version : no clue what this is
New to the hobbie. Tank has cycled but only been setup a little over a month used about 1/2 live rock. Total of about 110lbs in a 9 gal hex. Everything is testing in normal range. Have a new critter and there's a lot of them and have no idea what they are. It's the little white dots you see in the pic
I need to know if this is a good or bad thing. Thanks for the help guys

pods of one sort or another would be my guess. SCORE!!!
It's hard getting a pic becomes camera wants to focus into the tank.they are all over the glass and move around fairly fast.
Can you be a little more specific so I can try and look up info on them?
Yep looks like a score thx for the info!

copepods, isopods and amphipods--oh my! They are the basic cycle of zooplanktonic fauna. Some eat others, and their larvae feed inverts.
