Try to dial back the returns a little bit. Pump may be overflowing the tank too fast for the size drain you have.

I dialed my return line down a tad then placed a straw in the air hole of my durso. Acts like a muffler. Cant hear a thing.

Sometimes too much water in the sump will create this also. I found that out the hard way. LOL If your sump is full start taking out a cup of water at a time and see if it doesn't stop slurping.

more info about the tank and plumbing would be very helpful... number of drains, tank size, return pump size overflow type, etc. if you have 2 drains, you set up a herbie drain, look that up. Basically you install a gate valve on the main drain and you make it full siphon by closing it slowly, matching the flow of your return, and make sure your second drain stays dry and it is your back up if the siphon clogs. That s what i run and have never had a flood and its silent. Bean animal is MORE fail safe and takes three drains and i doubt, unless the tank was made for that purpose, would have 3 drains. One drain makes things more difficult to silence. You can slow your return pump with a valve, maggie muffler, durso stand pipe. One or a combination of those may help or silence it.
