Are you going to use a starter. I did and put in a fish from mt son's tank to start things off. The nitrates and among a were slightly elevated but it took around 8 days for everything to stabilize. Added palys and papaya polyps and things are going great. I'm looking for clowns right now and then goby and pistol shrimp. Finally a Sherman rose anemone.

Sweet hope to hear more on it. And no should I or just wait? It is cured lr. How is the flow it seems pretty light and I dont have the money ti drop on a mp10 or crazy wavemaker should I just get a bigger pump and a spin stream?

I upgraded to a mj900 but a 600 would work and a spin stream. I am very happy with it. The only problem I had was it sent a focused stream of water against the front glass which moved a lot of sand so I put a piece of rock to deflect the water. ........problem solved. I'm happy with the flow in the tank now.
I'm using the extra pump for water changes.

To answer question about a chemical starter, it's quicker. How were you going to cycle your tank?

Honestly I dont know. I have never cycled a aquarium my other reef I just poured water rock sand and corals the first day and fish a week later but I know now I need to cycle but not sure on how.

Look up "Dr Time one and only." It has some great info. But there are others. Fritz and Instant Ocean both have one also. I've use both and I like Instant Ocean better. Then just a fish and monitor. There are probably several threads or a sticky dedicated to this subject and more thorough than my description on this forum. It is a lot faster and safe. You know for sure you have the nitrfying bacteria.

Urinate in the tank and wait for a few weeks.

That's too funny.

Dr Time one and only and ammonia is a little more palatable. But not as story worthy.

Easier to control too, I reckon
