Bubble Corals (Plerogyra sinuosa in particular) are known to send out sweeper tentacles and sting/damage/kill stuff. What will suffer from a Bubble's sweep, particularly in your experience? What have they tried to attack but failed? Pictures/videos welcomed.

I don't really have any specifics for you, but the Bubble corals I've had over the years have all been model citizens. I've kept them close to Zoanthids, Fungia, Turbinaria, Euphyllia, Favia, Discosoma etc without issues. You definitely want to give them plenty of space, but I think it's just a crap shoot as far as what they will destroy and what they won't. Just as an example, here's a picture of how close my Bubble was to some Zoanthids. This might not be the case with yours.

I had one take out a few heads of a trumpet coral with it's sweeper. Sunny D zoas are right above and weren't hurt at all.

Mine actively tries to attack a Nepthea that is close by. The Nepthea is now growing in a different direction.

Thanks guys, good info there. I do notice from my research that they do tend to sting LPS/NPS and seem to be the more powerful ones when it comes to coral warfare. However they do seem to lose out when dealing with the non-Scleractinian Hexacorallian corals (or at least be unable to push them back) but can deal with Octocorallian corals.

But well, wasn't entirely sure, and some info was rather old, so wanted to see some new experiences.

Keep it coming everyone!
