Hi guys, so after nearly 3 weeks cycling my 300 litre tank (Dry rock, live sand,1 bit of live rock )ammonium is starting to show in my tank at 0,6. Is now a good time to add some filer floss from my established nano into the sump ?
Also how much should I take without upsetting my nano?

I don't know that anyone can tell you exactly how much of the filter floss you should use. If it were me I wouldn't do anything right now. You have ammonia in the tank now so your cycle is progressing and I'd just leave everything alone and let it finish. I know it takes a while but I don't know how much good it's going to do to add filter floss at this point.

If you do decide to add it, I would only take a small piece. Good luck!

x2. Let it alone. I'd drop a little fishfood in, as if you were feeding one guppy. If this can no longer provoke ammonia, after a few days of feeding, you're cycled and can add snails and hermits.
