I am thinking of keeping my 55 gallon and resetting it up as reef instead of going larger.

The issue is that the overflow is in the center and it is narrow.

What's a good aquascape for it?

Anyone with one that has pictures would be nice.

My old 55. Just part the middle for the overflow. Vary the height, and choose rocks that don't have a big footprint.
Also let your coral growth be the final aquascape of your tank.

Very nice setup for a 55. Its really hard with the width being so narrow. I wish I would have seen that with my 75, I had so much rock in it, it was a detritus trap. I made a post on here about it and it was frustrating. Just whatever you do, make sure the rocks are not against the glass and you have flow around them all.

@ Nanighan
That's a nice 55.

I know that's why I'm debating on keeping this 55 or selling it and getting one with a wider footprint.

Thing is if I keep it I'm gonna have to do some things to it.
Repaint stand
Get in sump skimmer
Change lights to support corals
