Seems my two little common clowns have a taste for sps corals. Not seen this before in previous tanks I've had. They've stripped a montipora frag and a birds nest. And now this is doing well they're eating that too... Any ideas as to why? Or how to stop it?

this is very rare but it does happen. i remember my clownfish had a taste for my duncan coral base skin, the green skin right over the exoskeleton, it died without it. its just as anything in life, once they get a taste for it. you can try feeding the clownfish more, move the frags maybe get a frag hanger and hang them high up on the tank where it cant find them. in my experience the clown always finds it. you can always condition it with a big stick, lol didnt work either. the best advice i can give is take the fish out get the taste of coral out of their system, my clown never goes for corals anymore.

Give them an anemone! They look like they are "hosting" a rock.

Tank is a bit new for a new at only a few weeks old. And noy a huge fan of them, well i love them but if they wander they cause mayhem. Tempted to try a small BTA though
