You should turn it over so it gets light. It just looks irritated.

Thanks pife. Don't know how to,turn the picture
So what you mean is irritate? I notice the cleaning shrimp was on top of the coral. May be that could be a reason?

Your salinity is high; are you keeping it stable by topping off with RO regularly?

+1..I am no expert but I also believe that you salinity is too high. Maybe bring it down to 1.026 should be ideal. Also I have notice in my tank with the LPS, Leathers, and Softies that if I let my Nirates hang around anywhere from 2ppm to 5ppm they blossom a little more if my nirates are at 0. From what I was told that they thrieve out some of the nirates and nutrients from the tank. So I really don't do a water change until my nirates over 5ppm. Just my 2 cents.

Your salinity it to high. Also, in my experience with leather corals, sometimes they shrivel up like that for a few days and then go back to normal

Aside from bringing down the salinity, you might want to just leave the coral alone & give it some time. While it might be a little ****ed off, it looks like it's getting ready to shed as well. They'll close down for a few days or so and shed a waxy layer from time to time. This process is completely normal and nothing to worry about. Also, these things really seem to enjoy a lot of chaotic flow too btw. GL.
