Guys i found a predato starfish, one that eats poccilpora. I thought it was doing polyp bailout but i saw it. It looks like an astreana but is rock colored. I know they reproduce by budding or fission i need them out now. Please dont say harlequin shrimp, aint no body got time for dat...

Take a picture before you flush him and post it here!

I have these little Asterias stars that seem to be algae film eaters. Unfortunately, in the process they also kill coralline. So I pick them out whenever I see them but they seem to be reproducing. I'm not sure if they are large or plenty enough to keep harlequins alive for long.

I used a single Harlequin which cleaned up one tank. The problem after that, of course, is keeping starfish in the sump for harvesting a leg.

If they are fast, you may have a crab.

Yes, there are some crabs that look like spiders - icky little things.

Though some starfish are moving quite quickly. And if it is a brittle star it can even be outright fast.

It is a starfish, they just blend in so well i couldnt find it again, and it is quick.
