Any idea of pricing on these units? I am thinking of the 48-60 dual option. Also when will they be available?

Thanks-Steve

I haven't heard great things about that site. You ever buy from there? The advertise Deep Sea Aquatic tanks for way less than the LFS. I contacted DSA directly and they don't do business with them. They have no idea how they have those tanks and for the prices listed.

Very strange. I also see everything else from them listed way cheaper. That $500 price tag would venture me to guess that retailers will carry them for about $700. Don't you think it's strange that's the only place you can find them? Thanks for the link. At least it's a general idea of pricing.

Steve,
Single output Orbit Pros are available now. Dual output units should be available at the end of May.

Would you recommend a 36" fixture over a 90 gallon (36 wide by 24 deep by 24 high)? Would that be enough?

Thanks Albert. I am now considering the Red Sea Reefer 450 and I think the dual unit 48-60 is the way to go. Any idea what the msrp will be on it?

36" unit will be fine on 36" tank for softies - LPS system.
Still no word on pricing for dual units. I will keep you posted once we get an update from Current.

You don't think these single units would work for SPS for this 90 gallon dimensions?

At 52 total watts, 36" unit gives you approx. 17 watts per linear foot of tank. For SPS system you want to see closer to 30-35 watts per foot of tank.
I'm sure you can do some SPS, especially ones with lower light demand, if you place them higher in the tank.

I thought these lights were more powerful. Any other lights you sell you would recommend for this tank dimension?

Maxspect Razor would be a good fit for this size tank. Here is the link: http://www.aquacave.com/maxspect-razor-r420r-180-watt-15000k-led-light-fixture.html
