I don't have a balloon clarkii but my normal clarkii is not a nice little fishie... And I don't think the bite of a balloon will be any weaker than that of a normal specimen.

But I have a pair of balloon black ocellaris, and they act just like the normal-bodied ones, including the fancy pair that they share the tank with. The main difference is the funkier swimming mode, but everything else is unchanged.

A few pics attached.

Best regards.

Daniel.

new balloon clarkii clownfish?

:headwalls:

Which perverted mind came up with the idea to create those?

ThRoewer, I was thinking something along those same lines. They are deformed fish that people have bred to look like this. WTH Imagine how po'd a Clarki will be when it realizes it isn't like all of the others. :o

The only thing that I think of when I see the word balloon attached to a fish of some kind is balloon belly mollies. I had those once, because I was stupid and for whatever reason I like that fat fish( which is why I have a lot of puffers), but honestly they are just so horribly deformed you have to feel bad for them.
