I want to see some good examples of what people have done with aquascaping their 6ft long tanks. I am having a hard time trying to decide how I want to do mine. Show me what you have done. I looked through the aquascape threads on this site and havent really found anything I like. I am really thinking of having a LOT of open swim room in the tank and a minimal amount of rock. Maybe one large structure off center of the tank.

Here's one. 300DD 72"L X 36D X 27"H. With a 360 degree walk-around design, the reef runs diagonally from left rear to right front about 2/3 the distance, with a zoanthid/palythoa rock providing an exclamation mark at the right front corner (with space for fish to swim around). LPS rock in right rear corner. Maximum swim space on both sides of the reef and above, with lots of tunnels and dart holes throughout all structures.

I like this, It has a nice flow to it. My tank will be pure sps but it gives me a good idea on something and a way to use the depth of the tank.

Can you imagine the tang police for a 6ft long tang? Maybe you could do like two rock pillers at each end of the tank, they can swim around them in a figure-8 pattern, or you could do two small rock wall type structures on each back corner and have an 0 shaped area for swimming.

This is from one end looking down the length. The T12VHO bulbs are at least 5 years old.

This was my last 6' tank/180g, but I actually got a better scape w/ more open space in my 150g using better pillars.
If you are looking at idea for scaping there are a number of threads, this pillar thread was my fav and has my 150g in there somewhere.

I really like the overhang in this tank.

Thank you Sps_Reef. I was able to find a couple of brighter pictures, so you could see how the rocks were stacked. I started with a few small rocks (my pillars) and then put very large rocks on top of those to create a arch/cave type of thing. The rock in the center is about a 40 or 50 pound rock, as is the one on the right standing up vertically. Then connected together with the smaller rocks. I've redone it five or six times now and finally have it how I like it I think.
