Yay me after three months of having my very first reef tank running I'm proud to say I have coraline growing all over my glass and rock :)

Sorry had to share/brag

Share away! It's part of the fun of having a marine aquarium. :)

Haha yeah

I'm just stoked cause all I hear is how hard coraline is to grow....and I've done nothing but keep good parameters...

Why is it a pain it seems easy enough to clean off...I'm just going to let it grow on the back of the tank and the one end at the wall...

I like it. From what I've read, nuisance algae has a hard time growing over coraline. My tank seems to be good at growing a variety of strains; I have the typical pinkish/purple, thickly encrusting purple, greenish, and maroon. With an "easy blade" attachment to my cleaning magnet, it comes right off the glass.

I don't like this look so I spend a lot of time removing it. It also cover your pumps and needs to be cleaned off of them.

I wouldn't keep coralline around I would just keep your nutrients in check.

If I let it grow for a couple weeks it is extremely hard to remove.
