On GHL Control Center under general tab there is a box that is labeled KEY SOUND.

Yes you can update to the latest firmware in one hit.
But you need to use the old Profilux software to do the update.

And then you can install the new GCC which you will require after the firmware
update.

If you have never done an firmware update, I recommend you go the the GHL forum and search for firmware update and read it thourougly. A lot of people get it wrong and it makes it much harder to update after a failure.

Are there any other programs that are needed to do the update? I have the GHL control and flash usb direct programmer.

Just the GHL profilux control will do it for you.

Assume you are running a PC with windows! The Mac crowd always seem to run into problems trying to update firmware via parallel's or boot camp.

I had to contact Germany as the program on the controller is to old to use newer install programs. It should be fixed tomorrow.
