Hello i got this acan about a week ago from a friend of mine that Was gonna throw it away he said it melted and didn't want it anymore so i kept it hoping it would come back to life. When i got the acan the skeleton was completely exposed and the skeleton was a dark green with no mouths. I dipped it and started feeding it and now it looks like This. If anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it thank you

I'm nowhere near an expert.. but that looks like just a skeleton.
I see no signs of acan.

Looks like a skeleton covered with coralline to me. There doesn't seem to be anything alive on that at all.

I am intrigued on how you fed it.

It's long past dead...

If it fluoresces under actinics, then it could survive w/ time. I've seen acros come back from just a few polyps. Better to leave it alone for a few months, and if it comes back let us see please.

I have seen the deadest of dead looking corals come back after being treated w/ revive, which I think is good to have on hand regardless of whether it does anything for you this time or not.
It does look pretty gone, but I have seen things surprise me before.

I wouldn't bother feeding it, but I also wouldn't take it out of the tank. Corals can come back from dire straits.
