I'm guessing they are copepods or something. But I just really noticed them while looking at my tank while taking photos. Any idea?

why get rid of them? They help clean the water column

No need to get rid of them. They are part of the biodiversity in the reef.

I would leave them alone as well, but you could always try smothering them with some epoxy if you wanted to.. It would be like putting a piece of chewed gum over them.

yes the mushrooms are really angry w/ you but I suspect they'll get over it in a bit after they finish throwing their tizzy. Really only safe to fresh water dip zoas and palys.

unless you have thousands upon thousands of them, enough to form a concrete sort of mat all over your rocks, they aren't harmful. they are filter feeders and probably quite beneficial to your tank. i have lots of them, mostly in my sump.

Yeah, they aren't happy at all. Still learning with the while dipping thing. I had to do it to my zoas because it had copepods on them and they were irritating the coral and it would never orb up! They are full bloom now! I just assumed it would work to. I dealt with dinos few months back... so I'm like very anal about what's in my tank.
