Had to install a new modem. now can't get in to apex because I have to install a new past word for got how to do it. Any help please.

A new modem shouldn't impact your controller's password at all. You can see the current userid and password using the Display module and navigate to System - Net Setup. Remember that if you change the password you must reboot for it to take effect.
