Skinning the metal stand.

I'm bored of my old wooden stand.

I was thinking of using acrylic so it looked glossy but I think going with aluminum composite panneling would be the way to go. How would I glue a piece of metal to it so it works with my magents??

Or is there a better way to apply it to the stand.

I'm also building a floating canopy and I need to know how I would stick it to wood without drilling it

whats 3m vhb type tape? i know what 3m tape is, we use it on our cars. is this side double sided sticky or something? if so, will that be permanent?

i just looked at a 3 m vhb tape strength demo and i think that'll work just fine. looks ridiculous. if i wanted to ever get it off i would be in trouble haha

Gorilla glue. Spread the glue a thin layer on aluminum(a plastic scraper will do the job), wet the wood with a sponge, put them together and press.

I'm not a fan of gorilla glue as it tends to foam up/spread during curing..
