iv been running my tank only about three to four months. Going good so far. Actually even better now. My nitrate always ran between 10 and20 I do weekly water changes about 20 percent. I always test nitrate before WC usually 15 to 20. Last two were 5 down to zero. I don't run protein skimmer I don't have sump or fuge no macro. The only thing I could think of is I run large bag of matrix in Aquaclear 110. Either way I'll take it. My test is accurate.

Since it's a new tank your bioload is probably (and should be) very light. It's great that you're not overloading it yet. :)
