I am getting an unusual morph of flame tip BTA that's got multiple colours on one anemone. I've seen pictures of BTAs with multiple colours. but never where half of the tentacles are of one colour scheme and the other half another colour scheme. It is tiny, about 1-1.5". That's just how it came out of the mother colony I have. I didn't split it. It seems unusual to me. If there are similar occurrences elsewhere please post pictures here for reference. Thanks!

interesting! can we get a better view? the picture is nice but it seems like you are stretching trying to get a pic of it. can we see the entire anemone.

yeah isn't it? I'd just never seen that anywhere. I have a bit larger anemones where the coloration is the intense magenta red tips but it that same colour on every single tentacle. I have two of these little guys like this.

I use reading glasses, and my camera can't seem to focus properly on the anemone so that was like the best picture I could get.

Perhaps in a few days I might be able to take a better photo. It doesn't seem to like LED lights as much as T5s and MH. It keeps crawling away from LED and has now crawled into the bottom of that white ceramic pot.

Well personally, I have not come across this before. I say that only because I love Nems and have had quite a lot of them. The only thing you could do is to just observe it as the time goes by. That being said please update this thread as it grows, so we can enjoy it with you.

I think the colors will even out as it grows, sometimes new growth from recent splits will temporarily have deeper color.

Here is my old FBTA, I named the morph the "Hello Nasty" if you want to search for other pics of it. Im just on RC because I am thinking of setting my tank back up after being out of the hobby for 5 years, but I am still on the fence about it.
My old nem I had a blueish green disc, redish pink tentacles at the bottom that blended into orange at the tops of the tentacles with yellow tips. The blue green coloration would travel up the tentacles if she was super happy and really inflated. I will say, just after her splitting on her own the colors were much more intense; as you can see in the first pic. But, on to the pics... (gosh I really miss this thing!)
