It's 1.5 inches in diameter
I've never seen it extended as it's still at the importer facility

Scolymia perhaps?

With the skeleton piercing the flesh, recovery will be a long one and may just perish. JMO

I'd say a lobophyllia species, could be several of them, most are hard to tell difference between unless you know the collection place and what the structure looked like before cutting into individual heads.

That doesn't looks all that bad for lobos I've seen. They usually do pretty good at recovering. Low light and flow, some spot feeding and good stable clean water and a couple weeks you'll be fine.

It was supposedly imported as a scolymia sp from Australia was as a single polyp nothing attached I will be able to post proper pics later once I get it today
My guess was that it was a baby acanthophyllia

I bet it is a baby scoly of it came solo, no colony. Definatly not acanthophyllia tho, those have way more pointed skeletons. Did you buy it? Or were you able to see it inflated a little more? I grabbed an orange one freshly imported from Jakarta that was shipped in as a scoly, I'm still not 100% sure on what it is but looks very very similar. I'll post a pic of it.

It's indeed a mini scolymia from Australia.
